BLINK Cincinnati attracts people from across the country who gather to gaze at light installations that capture the imagination. The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati wanted to capitalize on the fun of lighting up the dark and enjoy BLINK with some of their brand-new patients. The hospital administration wanted to celebrate babies born during BLINK in a way that would connect the brand to the event. They came to us to help their idea shine.
Evolution’s Creative Solutions
Our Creative Solutions Team lit up with the idea of printing glow-in-the-dark designs on black onesies. We discussed the differences between heat transfer and screen printing for apparel and shared options for glow-in-the-dark inks. Once they learned screen printing works with luminescent fabric ink, they created a five-color screen print design including one glow-in-the-dark ink.
We sourced black onesies that met the hospital’s safety criteria for flame-resistant fabric. Screen-printing the detailed design on the small onesie area required expertise and attention to detail. We delivered the onesies to the hospital on time for the babies who arrived during BLINK. The radiant smiles on the new parents matched the glow on these onesies, and a once-in-a-lifetime brand association was born.
