Project: Bar Mitzvah invitations
Print Challenge: Loon & Company is a Cincinnati based graphic design company specializing in luxe invites for truly special events. Company owner and designer Cindy Loon was hired to create invitations, thank you cards and envelopes for a bar mitzvah with a baseball theme. The invitation was designed as a set of baseball cards and the design concept included packing the cards in a foil bag – with bubble gum – to resemble a pack of major league baseball cards. Loon & Company needed a printing vendor who would find the premium products required to bring these unique invitations to life.
Evolution’s Creative Solution: Our customer solutions representative recommended using Multiloft® sheets for the baseball cards and thank you. Multiloft is a premium paper technology that uses pressure and heat sealing during printing to create a thicker, durable product that closely resembles a baseball card with printing on both sides. Another creative solution was the recommendation to use heat sealed mylar bags for the foil packaging. Evolution creative solutions printed the invitations, thank you cards and address labels. To reduce costs, Loon & Company assembled with bubble gum, and sealed the foil packaging themselves. The end result was a custom, memorable bar mitzvah invitation.
