The Business Challenges
A Cincinnati graphic designer, Loon and Company, specializes in personalized invitations for client events. From birthdays to bar mitzvahs to weddings, the stationary designs reflect the personality of the host as well as the theme of the event. One couple requested an invitation for a combination 50th birthday / 20 year wedding anniversary celebration to be held in Italy. The designer approached us to source custom paper.
Evolution’s Creative Solution
After reviewing the design, our customer solution team identified a high-end one- hundred-percent all cotton paper to provide the finished look and feel. 100% cotton paper absorbs ink better than paper made of wood pulp, resulting in richer color saturation. We knew the lemons in the border design would pop a fun, bright yellow. Cotton paper is also soft and made a beautiful cover for the travel itinerary included with the invitation. We delivered the printed and scored invitations and the designer finished each with a hand tied ribbon.
The couple was thrilled to send such a lovely invitation to family and friends marking this once-in-a-lifetime event.
