A bar mitzvah is a once in a lifetime event that provides an opportunity for a unique invitation reflecting the personality of the young man being celebrated. Loon & Company is a Cincinnati based graphic design company specializing in unique invitations like these sports themed party invitations.The designer wanted a two-sided invitation with a high-quality look and finish and approached us for expert advice.
Evolution’s Creative Solution:
Our customer solutions representative identified several important details. Some guests were invited to the ceremony and lunch, while others were also invited to an evening event. Two variations of the invitation were needed. Also, a high quality paper wouldn’t provide the thicker durability requested by the designer.
After considering a variety of high-end paper options, our customer solutions representative recommended using Multiloft® sheets for both versions of this invitation.
Multiloft is a premium paper technology that uses pressure and heat sealing to create a thicker, durable product. The process involves using two cover sheets, each coated on one side with a proprietary adhesive. The other side is printable. An insert sheet is placed between the adhesive sides of the cover sheets. The three sheets are then sealed under pressure to create a thicker, double-sided card. No additional glue is necessary. Multiloft offers a variety of colors and textures for both the cover sheets and the inserts, giving designers almost unlimited creative options.
For this sport court invitation, bright colors pop on one side and invitation messaging is readable on the other side. By printing two versions, guests received the right directions for their involvement in the celebration. For an extra feature, the corners were rounded. The end result was a custom, memorable bar mitzvah invitation.
