The Business Problem
The 16-day Homearama event brings thousands of people together in one Greater Cincinnati neighborhood to complete self walking tours through six homes. Event planners at HBA of Greater Cincinnati work with Creative Dimensions to design branded marketing materials that help manage crowds. VIP experiences, executive passes, and 2-day tickets add to the number of printed materials needed. To reduce staff time in organzing printed materials, Creative Dimensions recommended HBA of Greater Cincinnati partner with Evolution creative solutions.
Evolution’s Creative Solution
Evolution creative solutions provided HBA of Greater Cincinnati solutions that reduced staff time on preparing printed materials for the event.
Tickets – HBA of Greater Cincinnati wanted multiple types of speciality tickets including general admission, VIP tickets, 2-day tickets, and complimentary tickets. All tickets needed to be provided in bundles of 100, numbered in consecutive order. Evolution creative solutions printed, sorted, and bundled the tickets. Tickets were delivered in packs of 100 with the lowest ticket number on top and the package labeled with the ticket numbers. HBA staff could track ticket distribution and the number of expected attendees. Providing the printed tickets pre-sorted and bundled saved the event staff time.
Passes – Executive passes, preview party staff passes, and parking permits were printed and separated from the tickets. HBA staff could control who distributed the passes and permits without fear of them being accidentally distributed with tickets.
Coupon – To incite ticket purchase HBA wanted to print coupons. Different quantities of coupons were distributed in various communities around Cincinnati. Evolution creative solutions printed the coupons and bundled them according to quantities defined by HBA. Staff could confidently drop off bundled coupons trusting they were delivering the correct amount to the correct location.
Event Marketing – HBA wanted posters, flyers, and table tents to advertise before and during the event. We delivered tape with the table tents. That way staff did not waste time looking for supplies. They had what they needed when it was time to install the signs.
Event signage – To organize and manage the crowds, HBA needed event signage. Evolution creative solutions printed wayfinding signage to be installed in each home to direct crowds on self-guided tours.
Ballots – Part of the fun at Homearama is voting for favorite features. Realtors have a separate ballot from the general public. Knowing people may not have a convenient surface to write on, we recommended thicker paper stock paper with a writable surface.
