The Business Problem
The St. Elizabeth Foundation hosts an annual Golf Par Tee to raise money for programs and services at the St. Elizabeth Cancer Center. The first golf outing was held in 1979 and in 2022 more than 400 golfers played at four different golf courses in Northern Kentucky.
This large-scale event requires multiple marketing pieces and the St. Elizabeth Foundation designed stickers, cart signs, gift cards, clings, table tents, score cards, and programs. Some items needed to be customized with sponsor logos and the St.Elizabeth Foundation needed help organizing the materials for delivery to multiple golf courses.
Evolution’s Creative Solution
Evolution creative solutions provided a complete solution from print through fulfillment. After listening to the problems the St. Elizabeth Foundation staff faced with managing an event at four locations, we identified areas for improvement.
To maintain printed material quality at all locations, St. Elizabeth Foundation needed one commercial printer with the capabilities to print on a variety of materials appropriate for outdoor use. Some items needed to permanently adhere to a surface while others needed to be easily removed. They even needed a solution for printing gift cards. With experience in print materials we were able to source the appropriate materials including paper, vinyl, rigid vinyl and label paper as well as multiple types of adhesives.
Sponsors for specific tees or meals were not the same from site to site, but it was imperative to list the correct sponsor with their sponsored item as promised. We assessed the fifteen marketing items designed to determine which pieces needed to be customized with location name or sponsor logo and prepared the print files accordingly.
St. Elizabeth Foundation also had to deliver products and supplies to each golf course including all the printed items. Providing the printed pieces pre-sorted for each location saved the event staff time.
With our knowledge of commercial printing we were able to address the needs of the St. Elizabeth Foundation. The 2022 golf outing raised over $300,000 and we were honored to help manage the printing and fulfillment of their event marketing.
