The Business Challenges
Swath design company in Cincinnati, OH, specializes in wayfinding and signage systems. Part of their brand identity is a recognizable square with two opposing rounded corners. They designed their business cards with the two rounded corners and needed a printer to cut the cards to specifications. They wanted to provide each employee with business cards in a variety of colors and have the text on the card in white. Evolution’s Creative Solution
While considering the application of color, our Customer Solutions Team recommended using white paper for the business cards instead of using color paper. The white paper was more cost effective than ordering custom paper dyed to match brand colors. We could print color on the white paper as background and leave the text uncolored so the white like reverse text. We were also able to die cut the corners as designed. The final business cards had the color, white text, and curved corners that show off the Swath brand.
