The Business Problem
The merchandising and branding firm TAP Productions needed a commercial printer to print a high-end informational sales booklet for their client Bitro, maker of branded LED signage. The booklet was new marketing collateral, and TAP Productions needed a printer who would print a prototype. Their client’s salesforce could use the prototype and provide feedback. A revised and final art file would be provided before a larger print order was placed.

Our Customer Solutions Team reviewed the art files and considered the prototype request. Their recommended solution was a saddle-stitched booklet using glossy paper and digital printing. Full-color photography, used throughout the booklet, prints with more clarity and color correctness on glossy paper. A saddle-stitch allows the booklet to lay flat, making it easier to stack for storage or transporting. Prototype testing would not be an issue. The revised art file uploaded to the same digital printer would result in consistent color between print batches providing a cohesive brand image.
