The Business Problem
Leadership Excelleration, a certified woman-owned business, provides programs, coaching, and consulting to develop industry leaders. They created a tool kit workbook for a program at the University of Dayton. The workbook design included coil binding and a pocket on the back cover. They needed a printer with experience printing workbooks, and they chose to work with Evolution creative solutions, another women-owned business.
Evolution’s Creative Solution
Our Creative Solution Team worked with the Leadership Excelleration team to bring this interactive training workbook to life. We understood this tool kit was a workbook for participants to take notes throughout the training. Leadership Excelleration assumed participants would keep the workbook as a reference, so we recommended using a transparent acetate sheet to protect the cover. We also recommended using uncoated paper for the inner pages. Uncoated paper absorbs ink and prevents smears making it a great writing surface. The spiral-bound notebook lies flat to create a writing surface.
The tool kit was a success! Throughout the training, participants wrote notes and gathered information. We are confident that this sturdy workbook will continue to be a reference for these new leaders.
