Our creative solution to combine a pocket folder and marketing brochure into one printed piece won Silver in the 2024 Graphic Media Alliance Print Excellence Awards.
The Business Problem
Chesterwood Village, an assisted and independent living community, was purchased by Carespring requiring all marketing materials to be rebranded. The sales staff at Chesterwood Village shared that when potential residents visit they often have a lot of questions and want information to take home and read. To meet these needs during the rebranding, Carespring wanted a cost effective solution for both a marketing information booklet and a folder to contain paperwork and notes.
Evolution’s Creative Solution
After considering multiple options, our Customer Solutions Team recommended a single marketing piece combining the booklet and folder into one piece. An oversized 8-page booklet was designed with a pocket inside the back cover. A die cut flap from the back of the booklet folded into the scored center, creating a pocket on the back cover. The combined piece kept the printed information together with the potential resident’s notes for easy organization.
