The Business Problem
Children with Diabetes is an Ohio-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and support to families living with type 1 diabetes. They mail their 16-page annual report to several hundred stakeholders. Some stakeholders receive personalized, signed letters with their Annual Report while others receive a printed thank you note. For the 2022 Annual Report they needed a partner with the capabilities to handle the printing, binding, and custom mailing.

The Customer Solutions Team dedicated to Children with Diabetes confirmed that we could manage the entire 2022 Annual Report project. To create vivid color contrasts they recommended offset printing on glossy paper using spot varnish. The mailing process involved addressing envelopes from a mail list the client provided.Then staff matched personalized notes with the corresponding envelope. Envelopes were hand-stuffed with a letter and an annual report before being sent to the stakeholder. Additional Annual Reports were bundled with printed thank you notes in blank envelopes for the client to mail out as needed.
