Business Print Challenge:
Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services publishes a quarterly newsletter.  Staff write the content and take photos for each issue. They needed help simplifying the layout process. They wanted insights on best practices for newsletter design. In particular they wanted advice on designing for the visually impaired. Their branded newsletter needed an update and they came to Evolution creative solutions for expert advice.

Evolution’s Creative Solution:
Our Graphic Design Team had several recommendations to create a branded newsletter for Hamilton County Developmental Disability Services. They recommended building a template with predefined styles using fonts, spacing, and colors that make the newsletter easier for the visually impaired to read. Due to the volume of content and photos provided, the newsletter is generally a 16-page booklet. We recommended binding the booklet using a saddle stitch. A saddle stitch will lay flat and stay open making it easier to lay on a flat surface to read. The recommendations of the Graphic Design Team resulted in an award-winning design.
